As a signer of a multisig in the Balancer Maxis you are expected to understand and follow some simple guidelines.

• Understand what you are signing. If you don’t understand, ask. If you couldn’t initiate the tx yourself if you had to, don’t sign it until that changes. Every signer should know how and why tx’s are initiated.
• Use a hardware wallet

List of multisig’s under Balancer Maxi control:

• Optimism Multisig - Used to hold BAL suppled to Multichain liquidity per BIP-3.

• Ethereum Fee Setter - Used to set pool swap fees & amplification factors on Ethereum.

• Ethereum Linear Pool Controller - Used to set the limits on linear pools on Ethereum

• Ethereum Protocol Fee Withdrawer - Used to withdraw protocol fees on Ethereum

• Ethereum Ops - Used to hold Balancer Maxi operational funds.

• Ethereum Gauge Controller (”LM Multisig”) - Used to add new gauges to veBAL voting, add new reward tokens to Ethereum gauges, sometimes seed rewards for other projects, and holds BAL supplied to Multichain liquidity per BIP-3.

• Polygon Protocol Fee Withdrawer - Used to withdraw protocol fees on Polygon

• Polygon LM Multisig - Used to add new reward tokens to Polygon gauges

• Arbitrum Protocol Fee Withdrawer - Used to withdraw protocol fees on Arbitrum

• Arbitrum LM Multisig - Used to add new reward tokens to Arbitrum gauges
